FRANCOISE HARDY - L'OMBRE
i never really paid that much attention to her later work, but this fantastic track from 1970 has made me open my eyes to her post 60's brilliance.
she is truly a great doll.

what's a good first Francois Hardy album to get?

this was my first francoise cd:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000024NQM/qid=1121071337/sr=8-2/ref=sr_8_xs_ap_i2_xgl/026-1942110-3501234

basically, any album from the 60's will be pretty good.

And thank you for leaving a comment- i was starting to think no-one was liking my recent choices!

let me know which one you get! - you won't be dissapointed!

This is a great song...thanks for posting this as I have a couple of Francoise's cd's but not this song...great intro and production is wonderful.

Don`t worry Mordi, I get the same feeling when I get no comments. This Francoise Hardy post is good but it`s not as great as the recent mpeg you posted. I thought my Clingers post was good but, hey what do I know?

I actually prefer her late 60s-early 70s work... I know, I know.

Two very nice albums from this period, in my opinion are
* Ma jeunesse fout le camp... (1967)
* If You Listen (1971)

I appreciate your posts... and I'm sure many more do as well -- sometimes we're just too quiet :(
